What Can You Expect From Astro Royale Chapter 18?
The upcoming update will likely continue with Shio’s rampage. Although his exact Astro power is still unknown, the oldest Yotsurugi brother seems to be able to control the ground and the buildings as he pleases. Tora stopped the building from falling onto Hibaru’s group, but we don’t know how long he will be able to hold off Shio’s devastating attacks. Hibaru is still extremely emotional about Gido’s death, but fans can expect him to pull himself together and help Tora somehow.
Astro Royale Chapter 17 Recap
The latest installment of the manga begins with Gido thinking how powerful Hibaru is. He realizes that Hibaru’s aura is much more refreshing and honest than Shio’s. But the moment he admits his defeat, a hole appears in his stomach, and Hibaru sees Shio through the hole with a weird contraption in his hand. Shio says that he wanted to shoot directly through Hibaru as well but Terasu quickly puts up a shield in front of him before their older brother can launch another attack. Shio commends Gido for staying loyal and useful to him till the end and kills him with a brutal strike.
Terasu tells a stunned Hibaru to run just as Shio’s new attack causes sharp spikes to come out from the ground. Kinpa, Terasu, and Kuran all wonder what Shio’s power is but cannot figure it out. Hibaru attacks Shio and yells at him for killing Gido who has been by his side for a decade. He angrily asks why Shio didn’t face Gido like a human and killed him for such a petty reason. The older Yotsurugi sibling answers that he is pathetic for showing his emotions in front of his servants. He pushes Hibaru aside and says he will kill his friends to darken his naive eyes. Hibaru looks on hopelessly as his friends are stuck to the ground while Shio tries to drop a massive pile of debris from the surrounding buildings on top of them. However, Tora appears at the last moment to stop the pile from crushing Hibaru’s friends. He says that there’s nothing wrong with being naive and he wants to protect their younger brother since he is immature.
