Announcing their final lineups
Many teams have started announcing their final lineups for the next season as the deadline for roster registration approaches. For the forthcoming Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) season, B8 Esports’ Dota 2 team will move to North America, which the company recently announced.
B8 Esports has opted to move to the Mexico (NA) Dota market after having its worst competitive season to date in the Eastern European (EEU) scene as it seeks to make a statement with its newest roster. According to Valve’s official team registration website, the business has also bought Wildcard Gaming’s DPC spot in the first division of the NA DPC league for the forthcoming season. B8 Esports’ New roster
- Joel “MoOz” Ozambela
- Denis “StoneBank” Korzh
- Oleg “Lodine” Kvasha
- Danil “Dendi” Ishutin
- Gleb “Funn1k” Lipatnikov
While Lodine played for DGG Esports in the second tier of the Western European (WEU) DPC during the 2021–2022 season, StoneBank spent his final competitive season as Team Dogchamp’s carry player in the NA.
Dendi and Funn1k formerly competed together with Natus Vincere (Navi) from 2013 to 2015. Funn1k departed NAVI after The International 2015 (TI5) to join Team Empire in 2016, however, Dendi rem, and with the team until 2019, when he left to found B8 Esports.
MoOz is the sole member of the team who is from America, and a support player from Peru who completes the lineup for 2023. MoOz originally played for Thunder Predator during the most recent competitive season, however, following The International 2021 (TI10), he began hopping between teams in the South American (SA) zone in 2022.
