* TrackLock.gg shared some interesting statistics that highlighted the best Deadlock characters.
* Seven and Warden are two fan-favorite picks in Deadlock due to their impressive skillsets.
Similar to other team-based shooters, Deadlock has a wide roster of 21 playable characters. Each possesses unique skills that need to be used strategically in the 6v6 fights and ultimately destroy the enemy Patron. With each patch since the game’s alpha release, Developer Valve has brought multiple hero balances in Deadlock. It has majorly affected the chances of winning with each hero as revealed by a statistics tracking website.
TrackLock Statistics Reveal The Best Deadlock Characters
TrackLock is a website dedicated to the upcoming shooter game by Valve. Not only does it feature the updated character statistics such as Win Rate and Pick Rate but also the latest news from the developers. While disclosing the best Deadlock characters, the website also revealed the overwhelming popularity of a specific hero.
Seven is the best character in Deadlock at the moment. The hero has a 56.79% Win Rate in over 2 million games, justifying its astonishing Pick Rate of 91.87%. Seven dethroned Warden for the top spot, a change catalyzed by the character balance changes bought by the recent patch.
Warden is another impressive character. Boasting a Win Rate of 55.45% in over 1 million games, there is ample reason for playtesters to choose the ‘speed demon.’ He can increase his speed with buffs and tank damage from opponents. After dominating the meta for months, his base movement speed was nerfed in the previous patch, which has slightly affected Warden’s performance in the MOBA shooter.
McGinnis is the third of the best Deadlock characters with a Rate of 52.60% in over 1.4 million games. Interestingly, he has a higher pick rate than Warden at 63.04%. A possible reason for the high preference is his simple yet effective skillset. McGinnis can create shield walls, heal targets, deploy mini turrets, and is overall useful in holding back the enemy or stalling their offenses.
Haze and Ivy claim the fourth and the fifth spot, respectively. There isn’t much of a difference in their Win Rates, 51.52% as opposed to 51.32%, but that may change after a few more patch updates. Warden’s effectiveness is dwindling and other characters could rise in the list.
