Brimstone’s signature Sky Smoke got buffed in the recent 8.09 patch so the veteran is the preferred Controller Agent for Icebox. One could also choose Omen, Viper, or Clove if they need more aggressive skills in their arsenal alongside smokes.
The Best Icebox Smokes For Attackers In Valorant
Open Spike plants on A or B Sites almost guarantee a win, especially if the Attackers know the right angles to defend the bomb from defusers.
A Site
Icebox is a Valorant Map that has different levels of elevation and the A Site is proof of it. Players can use the horizontal ziplines to gain a height advantage. B Site
While rushing B Site, be on the lookout for tripwires or alarm bots. A team must also be careful of enemies hiding behind containers at B Green and B Cubby. After they have checked each corner and have seemingly destroyed all defenses, they can smoke the following areas before planting the Spike:-
B Site – Upper and Lower Levels
Enemies at B Hall can be troublesome as they hold an elevated spot, have ample options for a retreat, and can deny the Spike plant by Gekko’s Wingman in Valorant. Smoking B Default solves the issue. However, it must be followed by a smoke next to it, blocking the vision of those approaching from B Snowman. Once the two spots are covered, Attackers can rush into the Site.
B Site – Ending Of B Orange
A Smoke at B Orange is very useful once the Spike has been planted. Defenders won’t be able to see the Spike or the Attackers holding angles near B Yellow. Given that Brimstone has three smokes in his arsenal, he could use all three on the mentioned places at the B Site.
