In March 2024, KRAFTON India officially announced the third edition of Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS). The registrations have already commenced for the aspiring rookie BGMI players, while The Grind stage will commence in the first week of April. However, before registering for the competition it is important for players to go through official Battlegrounds Mobile India Series rules revealed by the organizers.
BGMI BGIS 2024 Rules – All You Need To Know
Ahead of the start of Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2024, KRAFTON India has unveiled the official rulebook for the tournament on its website. The rulebook features the guidelines around players’ age, nationality, in-game ranking, IGN, and more, which players should follow, while registering for Battlegrounds Mobile India Series Season 3:
- Age – The Minimum age for participation is 16
- The players are above 16, but under 18 will need to have a proof of consent from their legal guardians / parents.
- In-game Ranking – All players, who are registering for the tournament, must have a ranking of level 25 and above in Platinum V Tier, before the 31 March, the last day of registration.
- Nationality – Only Indian players are allowed to register.
- Identity Proof – Players should submit the copy of their Aadhar as an identity proof.
- Residency Proof – One must submit the appropriate documents as a proof of their residence.
- Single Team exclusivity – Players registered with one team will not be able to play for other organization / squad in BGIS 2024.
- Maximum Players in a Roster – Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2024 allows teams to have six players with an option of two substitutes. Still, teams with less than four players (minimum requirement) will be disqualified due to incomplete roster.
- Team Captain – A team must appoint a captain / IGL.
- Team Manager – Organizations or teams must have a designated manager throughout BGIS 2024.
- Team Names & Logos – Throughout BGIS 2024 teams must maintain consistency in terms of their names and logos.
- Registered names – Players must include the team name and IGN in their registered game tag for Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2024.
- Devices – Only KRAFTON India-approved handheld devices will be allowed throughout Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2024. Anyone using tablets, adapters, controllers, Bluetooth keyboards, and mice. will get disqualified.
- The use of emulators in Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2024 is also prohibited.
- In-Game Apparel – During Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2024, players must keep their in-game avatars fully clothed in all matches. The exchange of clothing for cosmetic purposes or comic effects is not permitted during a match.
- Sponsorship – The Teams are prohibited to get a sponsorship from product or service categories that are a part of the Red Flag list. The list will be provided by Krafton to the participants.
- The Red Flag list can also be updated from time to time.
- Code of Conduct – KRAFTON India has strictly prohibited collusion, cheating, ringing, exploiting, use of vulgar or hate speech, violence, use of dr*gs or alc*hol, gambling, streaming, and use of Spectator Monitors / Devices.
- Unprofessional Behavior – According to the rulebook, any behavior that involves discrimination & denigration, use of defamatory statements, harassment, s*xual harassment, breach of confidentiality, any illegal activity, bribery, immoral activity, match-fixing, gifts, non-compliance, refusal to participate, and more has been prohibited.
- It will lead to disqualifications or bans from Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2024.
