After days of anticipation, Krafton India has finally dropped the much-awaited promo of the “BGMI x Hardik Pandya” collaboration. For the unversed, the collaboration was teased in BGMI Ki Boli (translates to Battlegrounds Mobile India’s Language) promo, while the developers also posed a separate teaser featuring HP33, aka Hardik Pandya.
Now that the collaboration has been officially announced by Krafton India, here’s what the developers wrote about the upcoming in-game crossover with HP33:
“Hold onto your seats, bhai log, because we’ve just stumbled upon a game-changing revelation that’s sending shockwaves through the gaming world! Sources have confirmed that the electrifying all-rounder Hardik Pandya is set to make his debut in BGMI! Are you ready to witness the spectacle of a lifetime?”
For those unaware, Battlegrounds Mobile India developers have also confirmed that the fan-favorite Indian cricketer will make his in-game debut in version 2.8, which is expected to drop in October 2023.
BGMI X Hardik Pandya Collaboration To Arrive In Version 2.8
In the BGMI Ki Boli promo, Krafton India hinted at the launch of the HP33 collaboration in version 2.8. Recently, another promo around the upcoming collaboration was titled “BGMI 2.8 Leaked Footage | All Clues Lead To HP33,” confirming the release in v 2.8.0. Apart from confirming the crossover, Krafton India has yet to announce any release date.
The most recent promo featuring Pandya didn’t reveal much apart from the supposed photo op sessions and the cricketer’s voice-over, as he is heard saying:
“Ab Main aa raha hun Battlegrounds Ki Duniya mein Man of the Match ban ne“
It translates to “Now, I am coming to the world of Battlegrounds to become the Man of the Match.” For the unversed, there have been rumors about the release of Pandya’s voice packs in Battlegrounds Mobile India as a part of the new collaboration.
