We learn that Terell McQueen is eliminating his brothers to ascend to the throne of the Kingdom of Soruk. As Archelance processes this information, he is greeted by Count Licht, who informs him about the upcoming banquet Golden Dragon Usman is arranging. It is likely that after the selection process, the new Empress will be announced during this feast. Hasolan also receives news about the party and doesn’t intend to go, while Archelance wants to visit. Licht informs the Black Dragon that it’s important to attend the banquet with his mate.
In Impel, the Golden Dragon EmperorUsman wants to cut the tongue of a young girl for talking back. Thankfully, a palace official is able to talk him out of it. As the Emperor is bored, he asks the girls to entertain him. One of the women introduces herself and Milena Dunham Istein and starts dancing, impressing the Emperor. Usman jokes about wanting multiple empresses but is quickly shot down by the palace official since the seat of the empress can be acquired by only one person.
The official approaches him later again as there are still many girls remaining. Usman tells him to take care of them, especially Milena since he’s yet to make a decision about whom to choose. After the official leaves, Besa says that Usman should invite the Margraves of Reutingen Arcelance to the banquet. Since his mate Hasolan is still recovering from her injuries, this will be the perfect chance for assassins to eliminate her and weaken the Black Dragon. Usman agrees and asks him to murder her in Archelance’s absence.

The manhwa will likely show more of Archelance and Hasolan in the next issue. Even though she doesn’t want to attend the banquet at Impel, the Black Dragon will try to change her mind about it so he can keep her safe. If she doesn’t accompany him due to her injuries, her life might be in danger since Usman plans to assassinate her. Fans are also eager to find out whether Hasolan knows who Milena is since she has already lived this life. If she accompanies the Black Dragon as his mate, it will be interesting to see what Usman does to try and undermine his influence next.
