Schumacher gets an invitation from Count Licht to come live in Reutingen in the latest manhwa issue. Lord Schumacher receives a letter from Count Licht that tells him to come and live at Reutingen. After remembering a conversation he had with his old friend, the noble is conflicted. But as he realizes how much of a tyrant the current Emperor Usman is, he and his wife decide to move to the colder region under the Black Dragon’s rule. Back at Reutingen’s castle, Arkeclance visits Hasolan, whose leg still hasn’t healed yet. Although she treats him coldly, the Black Dragon refuses to give up. When Hasolan asks for more work to do, Arkelance picks her up and carries her around the castle to oversee the repairs.
Suddenly, some assassins attack her on Usman’s orders, but Arkelance easily kills them with his Black Fog power. However, he suddenly starts to cough up blood, making Hasolan wonder why just this much power use will weaken him so much. She asks him whether he wants to overtake the throne from Usman as he’s more worthy. However, Arkelance says that he’d rather kill everyone who supports him and wage war against their neighbors than sit on a throne without her as his empress by his side.

The next issue will likely show Schumacher and some other nobles moving to Reutingen due to Usman’s behavior. This will anger the Golden Dragon more, making him attack Hasolan and Arkelance again. Even though Hasolan is worried about the Black Dragon, she doesn’t know what he plans to do about Usman’s mate selection ceremony. It seems that some more mysteries will unfold, especially regarding the lady Milena who Usman liked during the choosing rituals.
