Analyzing BLEACH Rebirth of Souls Gameplay Trailer
BLEACH Rebirth of Souls will be a 3D arena fighter that supports both local and online multiplayer modes. A single-player story mode is also available which covers the events from the Soul Society arc to the Arrancar arc. It is unknown if the anime-only Bount arc, featuring characters such as Ririn, Kurōdo, and Noba, will be in the story.
In this 1v1 sword-fighting action, players can take control of Soul Reapers and unleash both their Shikai and Bankai powers. BLEACH Rebirth of Souls Gameplay Overview trailer revealed the combat details by using Ichigo Kurosaki versus Byakuya Kuchiki as an example. After Byakuya activated his Bankai, they dealt more powerful attacks. Characters are in an “Awakened state” after their Bankai in Rebirth of Souls.

According to the BLEACH Rebirth of Souls gameplay footage, each character has nine small health bars which are named Konpaku. Konpakus decreases when players are able to cut down one Reishi Guage of the opponent. The red gauge is located below the Konpakus. After destroying a certain number of Konpakus, players can unleash a Kikon Move to eliminate more Konpakus from the opponent.
Spiritual Power is accumulated with each successful hit on the opponent. Players can use this power to activate special Spiritual Pressure Moves. A player wins when they cut down all nine Konpakus of the opponent by using combos and Reverse Actions strategically.
The arena fighter action showcased in the BLEACH Rebirth of Souls gameplay video is promising. Another title of a similar genre by publisher Bandai Namco is the upcoming Dragon Ball Sparking Zero.
