The year-long wait for Bleach Thousand-Year Blood War Part 3 is about to culminate. One of the big three shonen, the anime adaptation of Tite Kubo’s manga will hit the screens for the first and last time in 2024. The Soul Society’s fight against the Wandenreich shall continue while Ichigo Kurosaki steadily makes his way to the Soul King’s palace to confront Ywach. Will he reach in time? Part 3 will answer the question.

Bleach Thousand-Year Blood War Part 3 Release Date
The specific Bleach Thousand-Year Blood War Part 3 release date is yet to be confirmed. However, at the Anime Expo 2024, the release window for Part 3 — The Conflict was revealed to be October 2024. Bleach could be returning to streaming services at the beginning of the month and fans can catch the Soul Reaper action on Hulu in the United States and Disney+ internationally.
Following the revelation at the Anime Expo, VIZMedia dropped the first visual for Bleach Thousand-Year Blood War Part 3 anime. It shows Ichigo Kurosaki alongside Yasutora ‘Chad’ Sado, Orihime Inoue, and Ganju Shiba. Ichigo can also be seen wielding the brand-new Tensa Zangetsu.
Ichigo will play an important role in Part 3. In the previous cour, having trained relentlessly under the tutelage of Squad 0 members, the Substitute Soul Reaper returned to the war-ravaged Soul Society and made quick work of Bambietta’s squad. He also saved Kenpachi Zaraki after his internet-breaking battle against Sternritter Gremmy in which the former cut a meteor in half!
Trailer For Bleach Thousand-Year Blood War Part 3 Reveals Shunsui Kyoraku’s Bankai
Fans have already witnessed Renji Abarai and Shinji Hirako’s Bankais in the previous arcs. Bleach Thousand-Year Blood War Part 3 trailer teased the Bankai form of Shunsui Kyoraku which is named Katen Kyokotsu: Karamatsu Shinju.
The theme of the Bankai is centered on a theater and there are various ‘acts’ that Shunsui triggers to eliminate a villain. In the first three acts, the Captain of the 1st Division punishes the enemy with melancholic stories and different effects that feed on their willpower. By the end of the fourth act, Itokiribasami Chizome no Nodobue, Shunsui’s enemy is killed.
Bleach TYBW Part 3 will begin with the fight between Ichiebi Hyosube and Ywach. In the previous cour, Hyosube tried to pull all the stops to prevent The Almighty and his Sternritters from entering the Soul King’s palace. Part 2 ended with a cliffhanger as neither Ywach nor Hyosube gained an edge in the battle.
Jushiro Ukitake is also going to be in focus in Part 3. His connection with the Soul King will be explored if the anime stays on track with the manga. Tite Kubo could also introduce some exciting new scenes that were skipped in the manga, as done previously with Senjumaru’s Bankai.
