Blue Box Chapter 166 Recap
Taiki asks Kyo to come and eat snacks with him, which prompts Saki to leave. When Taiki inquires about what happened, Kyo says how Saki asked him to protect her from her ex-boyfriend, who is stalking her. Taiki says it’s not fair and that it seems she is taking advantage of him since he is kind and used to have feelings for her. Kyo remembers his childhood days and says he wants to help Saki if she is having trouble. His friend replies that he has always looked out for others, including his teammates and siblings, so it doesn’t surprise him.
Later, Kyo reminisces about his past and realizes that everyone is moving at a much quicker pace than him, including Saki, who got a boyfriend before he could express his love for her. Moriya, who is loud and trendy, used to scare him at first. But her ability to always express her feelings honestly captivated Kyo, who could never voice his thoughts. Kyo starts to cough and thinks that he is probably coming down with something, but decides to help his classmate fix a signboard.
Unfortunately, his sick body can’t take it and he falls down from the chair. His friends realize that Kyo is running a fever and offers to take him to the nurse’s office. Not wanting to bother anybody, he says he will go there himself but can’t stand up properly. Moriya suddenly comes in with a trolley and forces Kyo to get on it so she can push it to the nurse’s clinic. In the end, Kyo realizes his feelings for Moriya and says “I like you” in a really low voice, which she probably couldn’t hear.
