Blue Box Chapter 173 Recap
Chinatsu’s father reveals that he’s in town because there is some problem at work. He is planning to stay at an apartment for the next month but wants his daughter to keep living with Taiki’s family since her school is pretty far away from the apartment. Later, Chinatsu tells her father about her studies and basketball. But when she says that she’s in a romantic relationship with Taiki, the man scolds her and says she should come and live with him.
When Chinatsu argues that Taiki has made her better, her father points out that she couldn’t get into the Nationals. This hurts Chinatsu, who runs away and doesn’t contact him. Later, she tries to forget what happened by practicing after hours. Taiki appears beside her and asks whether everything is okay. After learning what happened, he says Chinatsu shouldn’t shoulder all this burden by herself and leave some of the heavy lifting to him. The chapter ends with Taiki greeting Chinatsu’s father and saying he will be living with him in his daughter’s place.
