After seeing that it’s the only way to counter a genius like Rin, Kaiser agrees to cooperate with his rival. Kunigami enters the field again to replace Noel Noa. The prodigious player realizes that Ego had wanted this all along.
Blue Lock Chapter 285 Spoilers Begin With Kaiser And Isagi
Kaiser asks Isagi why he proposed a team-up when he had promised to destroy him earlier. The protagonist answers that it doesn’t matter since they can’t defeat an awakened genius like Rin on their own. Since they can’t predict what their powerful opponent will do next, they need to combine their logical prowess in order to stop him. To prove to the world that talented learners can beat a genius, Isagi wants to get rid of his personal feelings and work together with Kaiser to score the final goal and win the match.
Kaiser asks who is going to score the goal if they team up. To this Isagi says that after crafting the best goal path with their combined logic, whoever ends up with the ball after the final pass will score. He asks Kaiser to throw away his sense of self and become a machine that can defeat a genius. Kaiser says that although he hates Isagi, he wants to destroy Rin and win the Neo-Egoist League. The German player shakes his teammate’s hand for one last play.
Rensuke Kunigami Enters The Field Again
As Noel Noa retires from the match along with Julian Loki after the end of the Star Change System, he is replaced by Kunigami. The other players of both teams get ready for the final play as Rin and Shidou promise to end the final match by destroying everything. Back at the dugout, Loki asks Noa if he can tell Isagi not to talk like that. Noa says that the Blue Lock player is right since the door of Isagi Yoichi’s Ego has opened.
Loki inquires whether Noa got used when he wanted to use Isagi, to which the star footballer says yes. He reveals that Jinpachi Ego knew how the world-class players would want to get involved in the NEL because they desire a worthy opponent. He took this chance to evolve the Blue Lock program at an incredible speed. Behind the screen, Ego says that he realized it too late and now Rin and Isagi will change the world of soccer with their originality. In the next issue, Isagi and Kaiser will attack Rin together to turn the tides of the battle.
