Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series (BMPS) will be returning this August. This year’s tournament will run for almost the entirety of September, promising BGMI fans weeks of action. A total of 128 teams are going to compete for the prize money and the prestigious trophy. Each matchday will be as exciting as ever as top professional teams try to remain at the top of the points table.
BMPS 2024 Schedule & Format For Each Round
The 2024 edition of Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series will commence on August 20, featuring 128 invited teams participating to get the lion’s share from the massive prize pool of ₹2,00,00,000. Round 1 is going to run for two and a half weeks. The long-running BGMI event that will feature notable teams such as GODS and 8Bit will end on September 29.

BMPS 2024 Round 1 (August 20 – September 5)
- 128 invited teams will be divided into Blue Set and Red Set.
- Each Set will consist of 64 teams further divided into four Groups of 16 teams.
- Six matches will be played by each Group on a given day.
- Blue Set will play their first six matches from August 20 to August 23 while Red Set will play their initial six matches from August 24 to August 27.
- After each Group has played six matches, the teams will be reshuffled and placed into the Blue Set or Red Set. The Sets will be divided into four Groups of 16 teams like before.
- Six more matches will be played by each group. Blue Set will complete their matches from August 29 to September 1 while Red Set will play their matches from September 2 to September 5.
- The top 64 teams in the Points Table will qualify for Round 2 of BMPS 2024.
BMPS 2024 Round 2 (September 7 to September 10)
- The 64 qualified teams will be divided into four Groups. Each group will consist of 16 teams.
- Across 4 matchdays, each Group will play six matches.
- After each team has played six matches, the top 48 teams will move to Round 3.
BMPS 2024 Round 3 (September 11 to September 14)
- The 48 qualified teams will be divided into three Groups of 16 teams each.
- Each Group will play four matches in the next two days (two matches each day).
- On September 12, the Groups are reshuffled.
- Like before, each Group will play four matches in the next two days till September 14.
- After each team has played a total of 8 matches, the top 24 teams will be selected for the Semifinals.
BMPS 2024 Semi Finals (September 15 – September 18)
- The 24 qualified teams are divided into three Groups of 8 teams each.
- Each team will play a total of 16 matches (four each day) in a Double Round-robin format.
- The top 16 teams from the overall standings qualify for the Grand Finals of BMPS 2024.
BMPS 2024 Grand Final (September 27 – September 29)
- After a long break, the Grand Finals for the BMPS 2024 will be held in Kochi at an undisclosed venue.
- The 16 qualified teams will play six matches each day.
- The total number of matches played by each team in the final will be 18.
Winners will be decided based on their final rankings in the Points Table. The top three teams will seemingly get a share from the INR 2 crore prize pool.
