In Boruto Two Blue Vortex Chapter 9, we saw Himawari finally meet Kurama and from the looks of it, he still retains all his memories because he didn’t expect to meet Himawari this soon and he didn’t want to be detected by the Ten Tails or the God Tree. Literally speaking, he looks small like a child and we can surmise it’s because he lost most of his chakra when Naruto used the Baryon Mode.
We still don’t know how Kurama ended up within Himawari. It could be that she inherited a part of Kurama’s chakra when she was born as Naruto’s daughter or it could be that Kurama somehow got inside Himawari after Naruto’s battle with Isshiki in Baryon Mode. All of these questions will be answered in Boruto Two Blue Vortex Chapter 10.
