Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 16 Explained How Boruto Learned Flying Raijin
In a past vision, Eida is able to see how Koji taught Boruto a trick that helps him switch places with metal objects. Although not identical to the original Flying Raijin Jutsu, Boruto can use it to a similar effect. He was supposed to learn it six years later, but due to Koji’s power of premonition, he could teach him the trick early. Koji says that after knowing a future, a person can never act the same way, which leads to the path’s destruction. When a person diverges too much from fate, they become a singularity.
The duty of these Singularities of Fate is to guide normal people to a better future from the shadows. Koji says that Boruto is a Singularity of Fate, as will Eida, who is watching this exchange from the future. At present, she doesn’t say any of it to Sarada or Sumire. The class representative berates Sarada for hugging Boruto despite knowing her feelings for him. Before they can do anything else, Shikamaru calls Eida to have a chat. Elsewhere the village elders apologize to Lord Daimyo for letting Boruto escape.
Koji Kashin Warns Shikamaru About Jura And The God Trees
Eida informs Shikamaru that there is a new Divine Tree named Ryu, who is modeled after Shinki and his target is Gaara. But she refuses to see their activities in real-time as one of the Divine Trees looked her straight in the eyes while she was using Shenringan. Eida guesses that Shikamaru helped Boruto escape and informs that the protagonist has teamed up with Kawaki. The Hokage asks her if she knows Koji Kahsin, the person who’s helping Boruto. After hearing this, Koji appears in his toad form from Eida’s hair and applauds Shikamaru’s intelligence.
He suddenly tells him to send Sarutobi, Sarada, and Mitsuki to the Land of the Wind along with two Sand Ninjas. It is likely that both Ryu and Mitsuri will come to the village. He doesn’t give Shikamaru as to why those three should be sent there and tells him to keep Himawari in the village since Jura might attack her if she goes outside. He also tells him to not engage with Jura if he visits Konoha as the God Tree is interested in books and trinkets and might want to learn more about the village.
Later, we see Sarada, Mitsuki, and Konohamaru standing in the Land of the Wind as they are joined by Yodo and Araya. The chapter ends with God Trees Ryu and Mitsuri arriving at the same location. It seems that fans are in for a great fight between Sarada’s group and the God Trees. On the other hand, it will be interesting to see if Shikamaru comes up with a plan to appoint someone at the village’s bookstore in case Jura decides to visit. If the person is able to gather some intel about the Divine Beings from Jura, then it will help Boruto and Kawaki down the line.
