Bungo Stray Dogs Chapter 119 Recap
The latest update of the manga starts with Amenogozen attacking Tanizaki, who evades it by using his superpower of illusion. He tells Atsushi about a fountain pen he kept on his desk which contains information about Naomi’s real family. However, before he can complete his message, he is stabbed by Amenogozen who then inhales his crumbling body. Atsushi realizes that he cannot escape the overpowered being and accepts his fate.
Surprisingly, he is saved by Kenji, who attacks Amenogozen with the help of Suehiro. The monstrous being is thrown into the distance by Kenji’s hit. The boy tells Atsushi that they need to get to a safe place fast. But before they can make a run for it, Amenogozen slashes Kenji’s body and consumes it right after. The narrative then moves to Kyoka and Lucy, who cannot get out of the building because of the rubble blocking the exit. When Kyoka tries to use Demon Snow, Lucy stops her, saying if she dies, it will completely destroy Atsushi.
Back in the battleground, Atsushi sits on the ground dejectedly and thinks about how Kunikida, Tanizaki, and Kenji were all killed in the blink of an eye. He thinks that he will likely also be killed by the monstrous Amenogozen soon. However, just as the Divine Blade touches his neck it stops. Atsushi looks up to find Fyodor Dostoevsky and is shocked when the villain offers to help him.

After Dostoevsky’s unexpected offers, readers are eager to see what Atsushi does. Following the brutal murder of most of his teammates, the protagonist’s only hope of survival seems to reside with the villain. However, fans are skeptical about whether Atsushi should join hands with Dostoevsky after he freed Amenogozen, causing multiple deaths. Kyoka and Lucy might also make an appearance in the next chapter if they are able to get out of the building where they are stuck.
