After weeks of anticipation and a barrage of leaks, Activision has finally confirmed Modern Warfare 3 (officially known as Modern Warfare III) as the next Call of Duty title, which fans will see later this year. In the official teaser that developers dropped on August 7, 2023, they confirmed a worldwide launch in November 2023.
Interestingly, the upcoming Call of Duty project was initially reported as an expansion for Modern Warfare 2. However, fans will now see the arrival of a new campaign with Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 (developed by Sledgehammer Games), which will serve as a direct continuation to MW2, picking up the storyline from the end of last year’s title release.

According to the official announcement from Activision’s side, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 will launch on November 10, 2023. The teaser has not revealed much apart from the voice-over, logo, and global launch date. However, after his brief appearance, Vladimir Makarov was teased as the major threat in MW2’s campaign.
