New Maps
Punta Mar
Punta Mar will be a new core map addition based in Las Almas that offers multiple alleys and side streets alongside shops and residential areas, built over a hill-like steep terrain. The area is centered around a cobblestone street and allows enough space to players to showcase their maneuverability over streets, alleyways, and rooftops. At the same time, the availability of buildings and structures provides enough room for players to camp and lurk.
Strike
The famous map from Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (2007) will now be a part of Modern Warfare 2 after the MW2 Season 5 update. It will arrive in the game as a core map addition with slight adjustments, which players will see after the launch of the new season.
Lounge
Unlike the previous two, Lounge will serve as an exclusive map for Gunfight and provide the thrill of close-quarter scuffles within a club. Canal
Canal will be another Gunfight-exclusive addition, where the action occurs in and around a brewery beside a canal. Once the squad has reached the winning streak, it can collect elements – Gallium, Deuterium, and Neptunium – to build the M.G.B. nuke. If the nuke goes off and the squad wins the match, the Champion’s Quest will be completed, and players will receive free rewards.
New Vehicles
MRAP
MRAP will be a new vehicle, which will be pretty akin to a Cargo Truck in size and shape. Besides the size, it will be equipped with additional armor plating and turrets, making it ideal for either attack or defense. However, MRAP will be slower than most of the other vehicles in the game.
