Activision is gearing up for the addition of brand-new content with Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone Season 5. Recently, developers revealed the key features, alongside the new Call of Duty MW2 Season 5 weapons, which will be seen in Battle Pass or later via in-season launches.
Call of Duty players will see at least six new MW2 Season 5 weapons across different classes, including two free guns – FR Avancer and Carrack .300 – in the next Battle Pass edition. Among the other weapons, developers will add a handgun, an SMG, and a pickaxe melee, alongside the M13C assault rifle.
All new Call of Duty MW2 Season 5 Weapons (Updated)
As mentioned, players can expect the release of at least six new Call of Duty MW2 Season 5 weapons. Activision has confirmed the launch of the following two weapons in the Season 5 Battle Pass for MW2 and Warzone, which will be immediately available after the launch on August 2, 2023, at 9:00 am PT / 4:00 pm UTC / 9:30 IST:

FR Avancer
The upcoming Battle Pass weapon addition, FR Avancer, will be a bullpup assault rifle with a rapid fire rate, making it perfect for readily finishing off enemies within a shorter range. However, the quick-fire AR will not be easy to control, as the high fire rate will make the recoil pattern quite uncontrollable. Still, users can change the base weapon in Gunsmith and make FR Avancer more formidable and efficient.
Carrack .300
Carrack .300 is the second Call of Duty MW2 Season 5 weapon players will see in the MW2 Battle Pass. According to Activision, it will be a semi-auto bullpup sniper rifle with a unique design that enables easy handling and provides stability whenever players move. Carrack .300 also boasts a relatively quick rate of fire due to its semi-automatic mode, which might be an excellent option for many.
Other Call of Duty MW2 Season 5 Weapons (In-Season Launch)
Apart from the two Battle Pass guns, the following weapons will arrive later in Season 5 of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone:
M13C
The upcoming full-automatic assault rifle will be a new variant of M13B, which players will get to see later in MW2 Season 5. M13C, unlike M13B, will use .300 BLK and be a solid option as a first-choice weapon. It will be a part of the upcoming Shadow Siege (MW3 Reveal event) as a free reward. Players must complete certain tasks to claim M13C and other free prizes of the Shadow Siege event, scheduled to commence on August 17, 2023, at 10:30 am PT.
Apart from M13C, developers have also promised the release of three other weapons, which include a new SMG, a new Sidearm, and a Pickaxe melee weapon. We will update this article once more details about the upcoming SMG and Sidearm are revealed.
