Chainsaw Man Chapter 172: What To Expect
In Chapter 171 of Chainsaw Man, Denji transforms into his Hero of Hell, Black Chainsaw Man form to quickly take down the Church’s second-in-command Barem Bridge due to what he did to Nayuta. This quickly humbles everyone in the room and as expected Yoru, despite being part of Special Division 5, doesn’t engage in combat with Denji at this moment.
In the next chapter, we can expect more Special Divison 5 members to show up and since this division was specifically made of Devil Hunters to hunt and kill Denji or the Chainsaw Man, it is obvious they are going to target Denji. But again, chances are they will be humbled and put in their place.

We can also expect to see more of the leader of the Church who sent Barem to rile up Denji. This could be a plot against him or this could be the Church picking a fight with him- either way, the story is set to take more interesting turns as politics and religion enter the fray.
