Day 2 of week 2 Valorant Challengers League 2023: South Asia Split 1 witnessed a nail-biting match between MLT Esports and GodLike Esports, where MLT Esports won the match with a score of 2-0. Both teams from Group A played in a two-round match where MLT Esports registered their first win in this tournament after a loss in their first match; whereas, GodLike Esports are yet to register a win. Game 1: Ascent map
The first game of the match began on the Ascent map with a neck-to-neck battle between MLT Esports and GodLike Esports. In the first half of the game, both MLT and GodLike gave good competition to each other; however, MLT finished with a score of 7-5. In the second half of the match, GodLike started with a straight 3-round win from rounds 13 to 15.
However, MLT bounced back with back-to-back wins from rounds 18 to 20. From rounds 25 to 39 no one was sure who will win the match; however, a straight 3-round win from MLT in the remaining three rounds sealed the match for MLT with a score of 10-8 in the third half. Game 2 ended with the final score of 22-20 leading to a straight 2-0 win for MLT Esports. The star player from MLT in game 2 is Venka with 39 kills; however, karam 1l with 41 kills and Paradox with 39 kills led the way for GodLike.
