Players who are eagerly waiting for the new content can catch a glimpse of it with the newly released COD Mobile Season 7 patch notes. The upcoming Call of Duty: Mobile Season has been officially titled “Heat Wave,” and will bring lots of new additions, including a weapon, a multiplayer map, a unique MP mode, an operator skill, latest Battle Pass, fresh Rank Series and many more.
Activision has confirmed the start date for Call of Duty: Mobile Season 7 to be on August 2, 2023, 5:00 pm PT (or August 3, 2023, 12:00 am UTC / 5:30 am IST). The upcoming season will commence with the launch of a new edition of Battle Pass alongside upcoming gameplay optimizations. Multiplayer Updates
New Mode – Safeguard
- Escort Team will have a key objective of escorting a defenseless robot to its destination within a limited time.
- Players on Defense Team must prevent enemy robots from entering the certain target area.
- The robot, which is needed to be escorted, will be powered by energy and activates on its own. Additionally, the robots also activate quicker if a defending team is nearby.
- Upon activation, the robot moves forward following a specified path.
- The robot’s energy will be consumed, upon receiving damage. Once the energy is exhausted, it will shut down on its own and require a reboot.
Infinite Potential Update
- Permanent UAV: Updated playlist for all players to earn permanent UAVs. |
You don’t have to waste your potential on finding enemies! - No Ghost: Playlists, where the ghost perk is not active, will be updated. Don’t forget that your location can easily be discovered by enemies.
New Map: Seaside
- A cool new map appears just by looking at it. Enjoy this summer by enjoying the blue sea, sound, and hot sand!
New Operator Skill: Tac-Deploy
- A deployable beacon that helps teammates redeploy to nearby areas.
Ranked Match Update
- Ranked Match Series 4 begins soon. Half of 2023 has already passed! Don’t forget that you need to become Legendary in the Rankings to get Legendary Medals, which grant you Legendary Weapons in Elite Missions.
- The good news is that rewards from Series 3 will be added to the rewards list in 2022. Soldiers who have reached legend can earn Elite Tokens by participating in Ranked Matches to reap the rewards they missed out on.
Other Optimizations and Updates
- Optimized Wheelson’s joystick operation logic.
- Some items, such as Rank Protection Cards and Victory Bonus Cards, have been added to the list of incentive prize items.
- Fixed a bug where ranks of top 5,000 legendary players were not displayed on the kill cam.
- Optimized the Grand Master icon bonus to make it more tangible. Keep in mind that the Grand Master Bonus will help you quickly rise to Grand Master III
- Rank EXP obtained from Overpower on the Ranked Match Summary page has been increased.
- Added Scorestreak manipulation tips.
- Added a function to display the player with the highest contribution for each round of Search and Destroy.
- Fixed a bug where Dead Silence perk was not applied in kill cam. Note that The kill cam is a simulation screen, so it may be slightly different from the play situation at the time. We will do our best to implement a more vivid kill cam to help many players improve their skills in the future.
- Quick tactical voice messages are no longer blocked when a player is blocked.
- You must select Block all voice messages to block both text messages and tactical voice messages.
Battle Royale Updates
Battle Royale Training Grounds Update
- Added class charging function and optimized the command panel interface.
- Adjusted the HP of the flying target and optimized the appearance of the flying target after being stunned.

New Weapons
- Striker 45 SMG: It is a submachine gun with a low to medium rate of fire, although it has the advantage of being highly mobile while dealing massive damage to opponents. Excellent for mid-range damage attenuation.
- New Signature Attachment – Macro IFS: A drum magazine that recharges rapidly, dramatically increasing kill rates. However, the increased weight reduces maneuverability.
Tournament Changes
Reward Wheel
- After long-term monitoring, we’ve found that COD Point rewards via tournament leaderboards are difficult for many players to enjoy due to the rather high hurdles. We’ve added a lottery system to the tournament, hoping that all players participating in the tournament will have a chance to win COD points rewards, rather than just being limited to a few top players.
- The system includes rewards such as COD Points, Tournament Winner Chests, and Credits. (COD points are limited in number and reset weekly.)
- Completing free milestones and premium milestones will give you a chance to win roffle rewards.
- Existing COD® Points rewards on leaderboards will be replaced with multi-draws awarded at the settlement of leaderboards. Other honor rewards will remain the same.
- The lottery ends every Wednesday.
Other Updates
- Added Touch Avoidance Mode: When enabled, accidentally touching the edge of the screen during multiple touches will be ignored.
- Added Secondary Fire Mode: When activated, weapons such as launchers will automatically fire instantly.
- Added two options for movable joysticks Move Mode, Fixed Mode in Settings.
- Optimized system loadout recommendations.
- A ‘Pro Tips’ section has been added to the weapon set recommendation system so that you can use more diverse loadout options.
- Optimized Popular Recommendations in Weapon Set Recommendations. The most used weapon sets in each mode are now recommended to players.
- Optimized optic sights of ‘Switchblade X9 – Neon Legend’. Added ability to adjust vertical sensitivity, ground and air vehicle sensitivity.
- Fixed a bug where top 5,000 legendary players were displayed as legend players on the player profile page.
