All Leaked COD Mobile Season 8 Weapon Balance Changes (2024)
The upcoming Call of Duty: Mobile Season 8 patch update is still a couple of weeks away, but the weapon balance changes have leaked way ahead of the launch. According to recent leaks, courtesy of @LeakersOnDuty and @JC_RoseThorn, the following COD Mobile Season 8 weapon balance changes might make their way to the final version update:
Buffs
- S36 – Developers have reduced flinch from 0.9 to 0.7
- UL 736 – Flinch has been reduced from 0.8 to 0.65
- RPD – There is a decrease in flinch from 0.9 to 0.75
- M4LMG – A reduction in flinch from 0.8 to 0.7
- Chopper – Devs have decreased flinch from 0.8 to 0.65
- Holger 26 – Flinch has been decreased from 0.9 to 0.72
- Dingo – A decrease in flinch from 0.9 to 0.7
- Bruen Mk9
- Devs have reduced flinch from 0.8 to 0.7
- The headshot multiplier has been enhanced 1.2x to 1.35x
- Groza – BSA has been improved from 23 (9) to 20 (9)
- Cordite
- Devs have decreased the ADS time from 220ms to 200ms
- OWC Foregrip:
- Developers have reduced the ADS time penalty from +14% to +10%
- EM2 – The horizontal recoil penalty for Taskforce Barrel has been decreased from +30% to +15%
- Switchblade X9
- Base movement speed has been enhanced from 5.01m/s to 5.16m/s
- The base ADS bullet spread has been reduced from 22/30 to 13/30
- Fast mag new stat bonus adjustments:
- Movement speed bonus – +4% to +2%
- ADS movement speed bonus – +4% to +6%
- LAPA – Devs have improved the hipfire spread from 200 (120) to 170 (120)
- HS0405 – The leg damage multiplier for Thunder Rounds has been increased to 1.1x
- Thermite
- The duration has been enhanced from 4s to 5s
- The vehicle damage has been increased
- Flash Drone
- Radius has been increased from 15m to 18m
- The flight speed has also been enhanced
- Shadow Blade – Devs have increase the recharge speed
- Death Machine – Its damage resistance has been increased to 10%
- Pumped (BR Class) – The fuel capacity has been increased
- Airborne (BR Class) – There is an increase in recharge speed
- Revive Drone n(BR Class) – The revive speed has been enhanced
- QQ9
- 10mm ammo – The lower arms multiplier has been increased from 1.1x to 1.2x
- Krig 6 – Devs have decreased the camera shake during firing
Nerfs
- Oden – First damage range has been reduced from 18-28 to 16-28
- Zombies Mode – Developers have reduced some sniper rifles’ damage multipliers on some body parts.
All of the above-mentioned balance changes are based on the recent COD Mobile Season 8 test server. Hence, Activision has yet to confirm the leaked COD Mobile Season 8 weapon balance changes. Players might have to wait for a few more weeks until an official announcement around Season 8 (2024) update is made.
