COD Mobile is offers a massive collection of gameplay content ranging from weapons to maps, which developers adapted from other Call of Duty titles. The trend is not ending anytime soon, as COD Mobile is rumored to bring a Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War MP map with the Season 6 update. According to leaks, courtesy of Leakers On Duty, Collateral is set to be the new COD Mobile Season 6 map.
For the uninitiated, Collateral is a large-sized map from Black Ops Cold War Season 4, which was available as a playable option for 12v12 Combined Arms. Treyarch also introduced Collateral as a Zombies Onslaught map, which a smaller version named Collateral Strike supported 6v6 MP action. Based on its size, players can expect a similar treatment for the reported COD Mobile Season 6 map.
New COD Mobile Season 6 Map ‘Collateral’ Can Be A New Addition To Ground War Mode
Ground War is a 12v12 MP mode in Call of Duty: Mobile that requires the participating teams to capture and hold five points on a map. Currently, the CODM Ground War only features three maps — Satellite, Crossroads, and Armada — and Collateral can turn out to be the fourth option for the fans of the 12v12 mode.
The Desert-themed map features a massive layout ideal for the gametypes like Domination and Ground War. Interestingly, all current Ground War maps in Call of Duty: Mobile debuted with Black Ops Cold War and have been considered large-scale maps. The Armada map also has a smaller variant named Armada Strike, like Collateral Strike.
Apart from the new COD Mobile Season 6 map, previous leaks have also hinted at the arrival of a new weapon and other gameplay additions from other Call of Duty games. Per the recent leaks, F2000 (aka BP50) assault rifle from MW2 (2009), Vanguard, and Modern Warfare III will be the new weapon addition in Season 6.
