Hardest Genshin Impact Bosses And How To Defeat Them
Raiden Shogun (Magatsu Mitake Narukami no Mikoto)
Magatsu Mitake Narukami no Mikoto is a weekly boss challenge, where the travelers will have to fight against the Shogun, the puppet created by Ei. During the fight, the Shogun absorbs Ominous Destiny, which further gains upon hitting characters. Once the Ominous Destiny is filled up, the Shogun will enter the Baleful Shadowlord form.
As the fight continues, Magatsu Mitake Narukami no Mikoto earns DMG RES, while also dealing more fatal attacks. At the same time, while the boss remains in her Baleful Shadowlord form, the characters lose Elemental Energy. Hence, ultimately, it becomes almost impossible to defeat the Genshin Impact boss.
To defeat her, players can try to maximize their DMG output during the initial stage of the fight, before the Baleful Shadowlord form is active. They can counter the the Baleful Shadowlord form by using the elemental attacks
La Signora
La Signora weekly boss challenge found in Genshin Impact’s Narukami Island: Tenshukaku, is among the hardest. In this challenge, Travelers come face-to-face against Signora, who uses Cryo and Pyro attacks. During the initial stage, one will need to counter her with the use of Pyro characters, otherwise they will get defeated due to continuous HP Loss Frosted Floor.
Signora will shield herself with an Ice Cocoon, if she loses a significant amount of HP. Travelers will have to continue attacking her with Pyro DMG to melt the cocoon. Once the cocoon is melted, Signora will switch to Pyro attacks. One will need to counter the Blazing Heat buildup by destring the hearts of Flame. If the attacks don’t hit their limit, characters will not face a continuous HP loss.

Icewind Suite
Icewind Suite is a normal boss challenge in Genshin Impact, which comes with two versions – Dirge of Coppelia and Nemesis of Coppelius. Both Genshin Impact bosses have a varying fighting style, latter deal Cryo DMG and the former deal Anemo damage. Additionally, they execute close-range attacks most of the time. Due to their persistent attacks, sometimes, it gets difficult to defeat them.
To avoid receiving any damage, one can maintain a certain distance from the dancers and rely on ranged attacks. During the boss fight, travelers can only deal damage to the main dancer they chose. During their respective Climax stages, Coppelia’s Anemo Whirlwind can be countered by the Pneuma attacks, while Coppelius’ Cryzo shield can be beaten with Pyro or Ousia hits.
Azhdaha
Azhdaha, a weekly boss, boasts a massive health bar coupled with the ability to switch between different elements. It is difficult to counter and adapt to the element change, which happens with the loss in Azhdaha’s HP during a fight. On top of that, he has 70% Geo Resistance, 40% Physical Resistance, and 10% Resistance to other elements, at the initial stage. The resistance to a specific element will further increase by 60% after Azhdaha switches to it, during a later phase.
During the initial phase, travelers can use the shield characters to dodge the boss’ attacks and focus on dealing ranged attacks. After a phase change, one will have to maintain the distance from the boss and deal with its element switch. Players will also have to keep the enhanced resistance in mind and counter it accordingly. At the same time, they will also have to keep dealing damage to Azhdaha to bring his HP down. At 1/3rd of the health, the boss will once again switch to a specific element.
The key to defeat Azhdaha is steering clear of his attacks and keep inflicting damage from a longer distance.
