Dandadan Chapter 166 Recap
Momo eats some grains of rice, which fills her immediately. Vamola then feeds her a drop of water and accidentally splashes her. Momo says that although this tiny body sucks, she is happy that she doesn’t have to go to school. However, Seiko says that she can’t fall behind in her studies and sends her to school inside Vamola’s pocket. Once in class, Momo takes notes on the tiny notebook cutouts Vamola made for her. She tells Okarun that she feels like a fairy, which gives the boy an idea of what can help turn her back.
After class, the whole group including Okarun, Momo, Vamola, Aria, Jiji, Kinta, and Rin all go to the library to find books on fairies. Since fairies are also tiny creatures, books about them might reveal how to get Momo back to her normal size. Okarun carries Momo in his pocket and asks if Turbo Granny has returned, to which Momo says no. We learn that after Turbo Granny took back her powers, Okarun can’t use them anymore. Momo confesses that both she and her grandma Seiko miss Turbo Granny and Okarun agrees.
As everyone looks for information, Okarun tries to talk to Momo about his love confession. But Momo says she will have a conversation when she is back to normal. She warns him not to cheat on her in the meantime. The two start to bicker when Momo notices a tiny gnome-like creature peeping at them from behind a bookshelf.

Readers are eager to find out what the gnome actually is. Since the manga is filled with different types of supernatural creatures, it won’t be surprising if this is a fairy-like creature that Momo and her friends were looking for. However, if it turns out to be hostile, then Okarun and Momo will be in trouble since none of them can use their powers right now. The gnome could also be the key to getting Momo back to her normal size. We might receive an update on Turbo Granny, who left Momo’s house after getting her powers back from Okarun.
