The latest issue of Yukinobu Tatsu’s popular action-romance manga Dandadan was pretty heartwarming. After learning Kouki Yukishiro’s name, Aira discovers that she knew the girl in the past. However, Kouki still couldn’t remember the man who manipulated her into harming Momo. We also learned that the pygmies can’t help Momo with going back to her normal size. But what took the readers most by surprise was the sudden hiatus announcement.
No Reasons Were Given For The Dandadan Chapter 176 Delay
Even though the Dandadan manga follows a weekly schedule, the mangaka has taken some breaks over the years. After the release of chapter 175, fans learned that the series won’t be getting a new chapter next week. Instead, Dandadan chapter 176 release date is now Monday, December 9, 2024. The new release date is available on both the Manga Plus website and mobile app. Although we don’t know the reason behind this sudden break, fans think it might be related to the mangaka’s health. Yukinobu Tatsu took a long hiatus back in July 2024, after the release of chapter 163 of the series.
The author took this break to do more research for the next part of the story, which has been amazing so far. The manga did not take any long breaks after coming back with chapter 164 in September 2024. That’s why many fans think that Tatsu might be taking this to take care of his health and recover from any illness he might be suffering from. Though there is no confirmation about this from the publication or the author, readers are hoping he will return to the manga in great health.
In chapter 175, we learned that Kouki and Aira used to be piano players together when they were little. Aira once lost to Kouki, who was touted as a genius. But she didn’t give up and practiced hard to win the prize next year. This made Kouki spiral into depression and quit piano altogether. Since then, she has become almost invisible in the eyes of her family and friends. Thanks to Momo and her group, Kouki will now have a support system to help her out. Unfortunately, the pygmies were unable to tell Momo about how to go back to her normal size. Fans are eager to learn what happens next now that Kouki and Queen Sensei are also involved in the group.
