Dandadan Chapter 175 Recap
Kouki confesses that the mysterious teacher gave her a knife that can apparently be used to steal people’s spiritual powers. However, she has forgotten the conditions he had given her for stealing Momo’s ability. Kouki also reveals that the man gave her the ability to see and control pygmies by cutting her with a similar knife, but she hates the little men. Queen Sensei tells her about a former student who once saw a tiny person. After finding out about it, she learned that these pygmies were once people who were shunned by society and driven underground.
Much like Kouki, who uploaded her scandalous pictures to gain attention, the pygmies also flock to the people who can see them to be acknowledged. After seeing how hard the little creatures are working to help her, Kouki starts crying. Unfortunately, the pygmies don’t know how Momo can go back to her original size. Aira points out that since Kouki has been caught, the teacher might turn his eyes on the rest of them soon. She asks everyone to stick together as much as possible and have each other’s backs.
Aira asks the girl for her full name, and she answers with Kouki Yukishiro. Aira recognizes that surname and we learn that the two had previously competed against each other in several piano contests before. Aira lost once, but then worked hard to win the first prize the second time, making Kouki believe she had no talent. As the two start bickering, Vamola and Rin sew Okarun and Aira’s school shirts. In the end, Kinta finally wakes up and the gang is complete again.

The next issue might focus on Count Saint-Germain, who seems to be the man who is manipulating Kouki. As a new member joins them, Momo might take the whole group to her house and consult her grandmother about whatever has been going on. Fans are also wondering whether Turbo Granny will come back since she was appalled to see Saint-Germain in the past. Moreover, the former student Queen Sensei was talking about might be introduced in the upcoming issues as they seem to be someone who can help Momo go back to her original size.
