Dandadan Manga Hiatus: When Will It Be Back?
It was announced that the Dandadan manga will take a one-month break before chapter 164 comes out. Author Yukinobu Tatsu said that he is taking this hiatus as he needs to do some more research before he moves on to the next part of the story. Due to this, the next chapter of Dandadan will be back on Tuesday, September 3, 2024. There will be no more chapters throughout August. Tatsu will instead be conducting in-depth research to make sure he can make the next part of the story as interesting as possible.
The manga will be back at the same time as the theatrical screening of the upcoming Dandadan anime. The TV anime adaptation of the manga will also start its weekly release in October of this year. So although there will be no new updates for the next month, Dandadan fans have much to look forward to this year.
What Is The Dandadan Manga About?
The manga centers around high school students Momo Ayase and Ken Takakura. While Momo believes in ghosts but not aliens, Takakura is just the opposite, putting them on conflicting sides of the supernatural scale. However, when Momo faces some aliens and Ken gets possessed by a ghost, they have to re-evaluate their beliefs as romantic feelings also start to grow.
Throughout its run, the manga has entertained many readers with its engrossing story filled with fascinating supernatural creatures and phenomena. The latest chapter 163 of the manga showed us the defeat of Fairy Tale Card. With Germain revealing his goal to collect paranormal elements and Momo stuck in a body that is the size of an action figure, the manga left the readers with a huge cliffhanger. Unfortunately, they will have to wait a month before the next update.
