Demon Lord 2099 Episode 6 Recap
After waking up, Machina comes face to face with Marcus and accuses him of betraying everyone. The villain tells her that the Immortal Furncae they are standing under uses Immortal souls as fuel. The furnace draws energy from the souls of people like Machina and sends it through an aether reactor. It then turns the aether into electricity and magical energy that powers Shinjuku City. We learn that Oranred, Palmlock, and Zenol were also used by Marcus as fuel for the city. Even though immortals are never affected by anything physically, the Furnace burns their souls for energy until there’s nothing left.
He reveals that until they find an alternate source of power, Machina’s soul will serve as the city’s fuel. Outside the Furnace, Gram engages Marcus’ assistant Kinohara in a one-on-one sword battle. At first, Kinohara is able to gain a significant advantage thanks to her state-of-the-art modern gear. However, Gram soon overpowers her with his incredible skills and a fireball spell. In the end, he defeats her with the same move he had used to end the Demon Lord. Some mecha soldiers try to attack them, and Gram vows to save Kinohara. Just as Marcus throws Machina in the Furnace, Veltol saves her with an impressive spell.
Demon Lord 2099 Episode 7 Predictions
The fight between Gram and Kinohara was really impressive. But now Gram will have to take care of multiple mecha warriors, which could prove to be tricky. On the other hand, the battle between Veltol and Marcus will start in the next episode, which fans are really excited about. It is likely that Kinohara will become an ally of Gram once Veltol finally defeats Marcus. However, they will have to come up with a way to power Shinjuku City once the Furnace is out of commission.
