Demon Slayer Season 4 Release Date
Demon Slayer Season 4 release date is set for April 1, 2024, in Japan. It will be available on Crunchyroll worldwide starting on May 12, 2024. However, before all of that, a special movie titled ‘Demon Slayer: To the Hashira Training Movie’ will be released on February 23, 2024, in the US, UK, and other countries. The movie will only combine the Swordsmith Village arc’s last episode and the new season’s first episode. The above trailer encompasses more scenes from the first two episodes of the season and will cover the events of the movie in more detail.
The Hashira Training Arc: Plot, Cast, Major Players & More
Demon Slayer season 4 will cover the Hashira Training arc, which is a short but important arc in the manga. It follows Tanjiro and his friends as they train under the guidance of the Hashira, the strongest Demon Slayers in the corps. They hope to improve their skills and prepare for the final battle against Muzan Kibutsuji, the demon lord who killed Tanjiro’s family and turned his sister Nezuko into a demon. The Hashira Training arc is also the last arc before the Final Battle arc, which is the climax and conclusion of the series
The Hashiras with major roles in Demon Slayer season 4 Hashira Training Arc will be:

- Shinobu Kocho (VA Saori Hayami).
- Mitsuri Kanroji (VA Kana Hanazawa).

Muzan is only a looming secondary threat in this arc. The primary and direct antagonist in Demon Slayer season 4 is Nakime- the new Upper Rank 4 of the Twelve Kizuki. She is a mysterious and silent demon who has the ability to create and manipulate a labyrinth of rooms and corridors using her blood. She can also spy on anyone who enters her domain, and teleport them to different locations. She is also the one who helps Muzan locate the whereabouts of Nezuko and Ubuyashiki, the leader of the Demon Slayer Corps.
We also see a secondary plot unfold where Lady Tamayo and Shinobu work together. They are both skilled doctors and poisoners who collaborate to create a drug that can turn demons back into humans and weaken Muzan Kibutsuji, the main antagonist of the series. They do this using Nezuko’s blood since she’s the only demon that can survive the sunlight as we saw in Demon Slayer season 3- Swordsmith Village Arc. We also see them share mutual respect and friendship, despite their different backgrounds and statuses.
There have been a few leaks already about the combat abilities of Obanai Iguro, the Snake Hashira and Sanemi Shinazugawa, the Wind Hashira. There seem to be leaks from the upcoming movie titled ‘To the Hashira Training’ which is due to release at the end of February. From the looks of it, fans can expect another season of Demon Slayer with ‘unlimited budget’ animation and we are all excited about it.
