Question: What’s your strategy, and what keeps you consistently performing well in these major events?
Destro: After BGIS, we tried different strategies to better prepare for BMPS. I think we’ve been doing pretty well.
Question: Winning all official tournaments, you’re a trophy magnet, as fans call you. How do you handle these industry expectations?
Destro: There’s some pressure to win because of the fans and myself. When winning major events, it’s not enough to be second or third best. Whenever I play, I ensure I give my best. If I give my best and still don’t win, then it’s alright.
Question: With no roster changes in your team, what keeps your team together, and how do you manage to repeat the same performance?
Destro: A good team sticks together and is like a family outside the game. If the bond is good outside the game, then the team performs well. With our team, we consider each other close friends who share everything, and that’s why we’ve come this far.
Question: Your strategy often involves playing zone to zone. Is it a predictable strategy, or do you bring your A-game with it? Please explain.
Destro: Everyone knows our strategy, and we haven’t changed it. But no one has been able to counter it yet. So until it stops working, we’ll keep using it.
Question: Ammar from Gladiators, with many teams emerging, who do you think your biggest competition, not just in BMPS but also in upcoming tournaments, is going to be?
Destro: It’s Blind, obviously. Every year, every event, it’s been them.
When asked to convey a message to the fans, Destro said that he posts stories on his social media account whenever he feels low, and the love that he receives from the fans uplifts him. He’s focused on doing his best for the fans, and thanks them dearly for their support.
