An action RPG developed and published by Blizzard Entertainment, Diablo 4 has a highly competitive and intense PvP mode that allows players to test their skills, playstyle, and strategies on the battlefield. They begin the climb in the leaderboard after selecting one of the six available classes. The Vessel of Hatred DLC expansion introduced the Spiritborn class, which immediately caught the fancy of players.
Each class has its unique playstyle, skill sets, and mechanics. Choosing the right class is important as it helps you level up in the game, which is why players must read this updated Diablo 4 tier list.
Diablo 4 Tier List: Classes ranked from best to worst
Based on in-game mechanics, skills, and efficiency, we have organized all the classes from best to worst. The classes are categorized into three different tiers:
- S-Tier– The most consistent and powerful classes in Diablo 4. They are versatile and highly mobile with excellent crowd control and defensive skills.
- A-Tier– Not as powerful as the S-Tier classes but they are worth a pick. They have good offensive and defensive skills but players may struggle with the long countdowns.
- B-Tier– Classes that are difficult to master but can be quite substantial in combat. Druids can use the power of nature and transformation to overwhelm enemies.
S-Tier
- Sorcerer– With high mobility and variability, Sorcerers are the best classes in Diablo 4. They offer good crowd-control tools, defensive skills, and damage output.
- Spiritborn– Spiritborn gives players four distinct styles. They can choose to build their character as an eagle (mobility/evasion), gorilla (damage/HP), jaguar (DPS/fire), or centipede (poison/debuffs). It is capable of tanking, dealing, deflecting, or reducing damage based on the player’s preference.
- Rogue– It is a versatile class, with high DPS and mobility. Rogue can adapt to any given situation and have a massive damage output. Considering its playstyle, it is difficult for beginners.
A-Tier
- Barbarian– It is one of the best beginner-friendly classes. Barbarian is strong and hard to kill. With this class, you gain stats and level up smoothly.
- Necromancer– It is the summoner class of Diablo 4 and has a unique playstyle. The Necromancer has the ability to summon the dead or the minions to fight for them making it a safe class to play.
B-Tier
- Druid– Considered as the most difficult class to master, Druid requires strategic play and practice. It is not the worst but not the best either as beginners often get confused about applying its skills.
