From a Fortnite player to a professional Valorant Esports player
The 19-year-old Domagoj Fancev, aka Doma, is a professional Valorant player who joined Indian Organisation Velocity Gaming. As you all read in our previous article on Velocity Gaming’s roster, Doma is one of the two newly acquired International players acquired by the organisation. However, Doma’s journey in the Valorant Esports scenario is not the same as others. Many retired CS:GO professionals shifted to Valorant, but Doma stands differently as he was a Fortnite player before. Later Doma made his professional European Valorant debut with SUMN FC, where he played brilliantly and attracted Fnatic’s attention. He remained with Fnatic for almost a season before he went to TENSTAR. With only three months’ terms, he joined MAD Lions, and his last competitive play was with B RATAN MIX.

Doma’s Career
Doma began his career in Fortnite. But soon after, he quickly switched to Valorant. SUMN FC signed him in August 2020, where he attracted much attention with his gameplay at First Strike Europe. Less than a year after joining SUMN FC, he transferred to Fnatic. As he joined Fnatic, he immediately made an impression on the roster after being crucial to the team as they won the Valorant Champions Tour: Europe Stage 2 Challengers 2 competition.
Time for some new explorations
After losing to Team Liquid in the Valorant Stage 2 Challengers finals, Fnatic still earned a spot in the Stage 2 Masters. However, that fairytale run of Fnatic came to an end by Sentinels in Stage 2 Masters. Doma stopped playing for Fnatic and became an inactive member. TENSTAR finally took him on, from where he later joined MAD Lions after over four months of competition with TENSTAR. During that time, he won second place at VRL 2022 France: Revolution Stage 2.
Current status
After his tenure ended with MAD Lions, Doma joined B RATAN MIX. He last competed in the G-Loot Valorant Clash – Grand Finals. Well, it didn’t end here, as Doma got himself a new home for the Valorant 2023 season and is here in India. As the organisation revealed through Twitter, he became the official Velocity Gaming player. Now with the new team, Doma will debut in the upcoming Valorant Challengers League South Asia later this year.

His European experience will make him a perfect fit in the Velocity squad. Being good as an initiator and controller, Doma will help Velocity Gaming achieve great heights.
