Final day to be played out today for DPC CN 2023 Tour 1

In our previous articles, you all read about the DPC CN 2023 Tour 1: Division I, organised by Perfect World, which started on the 5th of January. The tournament is being played online, with Shanghai/Guangdong as the game server and China as the tournament region. Only one day left before the competition gets over on the 3rd of February. A total of 4 teams will be heading for the Lima Major, and Team Aster is on top with a good lead with a 6-0 record. The competition has progressed to Week 4 Day 3 which was played yesterday, 2nd of February. Two games were played in total yesterday and the winners of the matches are EHOME and Xtreme Gaming as they each claimed their victories with flawless wins.

Let’s have a look at the Week 4 Day 3 matches

Week 4 is about to end with just one matchday left to be played out from the DPC CN 2023 Tour 1: Division I. Yesterday, Day 3 was played out and fans witnessed a total of two matches. The first match that was played out was Knights vs EHOME and the second game was Xtreme Gaming vs Invictus Gaming. To witness the match streams, visit PGL’s YouTube channel.

A detailed recap of the Week 4 Day 3 matches are mentioned below –

Match 1: Knights vs EHOME

The best of 3 game score remained 0-2

  •       Game 1: Knights faced EHOME with a lineup of Crystal Maiden, Naga Siren, Pangolier, Rubick and Dragon Knight. EHOME picked Broodmother, Lion, Morphling, Disruptor and Primal Beast. The game was played for around 30 minutes and 57 seconds and EHOME clinched the win. 
  •       Game 2: Knights this time picked Marci, Enchantress, Crystal Maiden, Dragon Knight and Drow Ranger. EHOME went ahead with Nature’s Prophet, Riki, Ember Spirit, Mirana and Primal Beast. Both teams took the game for 48 minutes and 14 seconds, EHOME won the game and picked up a flawless win in the best of 3-game series.

Match 2: Xtreme Gaming vs Invictus Gaming

The best of 3 game score remained 2-0

  •       Game 1:  Xtreme Gaming picked Mirana, Nature’s Prophet, Tusk, Dark Willow and Drow Ranger. Invictus Gaming began the game with a hero lineup of Tiny, Crystal Maiden, Primal Beast, Timbersaw and Phantom Assassin. The game was wrapped up after 40 minutes and 54 seconds, Xtreme Gaming made it a win in the first game. 
  •       Game 2: The hero lineup for Xtreme Gaming was Phoenix, Tiny, Death Prophet, Chaos Knight and Monkey King. Invictus Gaming went ahead with Rubick, Doom, Undying, Drow Ranger and Kunkka. After a good team fight for around 44 minutes and 35 seconds, Xtreme Gaming claimed the win and won the series with a flawless victory over their opponents.

Now it’s time for the final fixtures of Week 4 which will be played today. The matches that will be played out are Aster.Aries vs Dawn Gaming and Team Aster vs PSG.LGD. Before we move on towards these fixtures, first let’s have a look at the overall standings.

Alterations in the Overall standings

The standing was determined by adding up each week starting from Day 1 of the tournament. Throughout the three weeks that were played out, Team Aster outperformed its opponents and sits in first place with a 6-0 record. The Knights are now in second place and winning five games while they lost one. PSG.LGD is currently in third place with a 5-1 record. These three teams played really well and were dominant enough against their opponents. Now with just 1 day remaining and 2 fixtures to be played out, EHOME climbed up to 4th position following their win on Day 3 and Xtreme Gaming is in 5th position.
