New International VALORANT Roster for Enigma Gaming
Enigma Gaming, one of the top Indian Esports has recently revealed its all-new VALORANT roster. It includes International players who all are from the Southeast Asian region mainly from Malaysia and Singapore. This roster is currently competing in the VALORANT Challengers 2023: Malaysia and Singapore Split 1 and had played a total of 2 matches where they lost the opening game and then went ahead to win the second one in the Challenger Stage of VALORANT Challengers 2023: Malaysia and Singapore Split 1. For over a month, Enigma Gaming was without its official VALORANT roster but now it is officially out and includes 3 players from Singapore and 2 players from Malaysia. The reveal was made on Enigma’s official Instagram account.
Enigma and its change
Enigma Gaming earlier used to have an Indian Valorant roster which was led by Antidote. But as Enigma Gaming parted ways with its VALORANT roster, they have now formed a strong roster including Southeast Asian players. The players who are now a part of Enigma Gaming’s roster are mentioned below –
From Singapore –
- Tidus Goh, in-game name STYRON
- Ingram Tan, in-game name FREY
- Yeoh Chun Ting, in-game name Divine
From Malaysia –
- Mathanraj Munisparan, in-game name theDoctorr
- Xan
This means it is a complete International roster for Enigma and as they have shifted to the SEA region, we can expect a good amount of competition as Southeast Asia tends to be the server region for intense challenges.
The challenges that are upfront
Enigma Gaming and its new roster are seen competing in the VALORANT Challengers 2023: Malaysia & Singapore Split 1. The tournament is taking place in both Malaysia and Singapore. It is organised by Riot Games and The Gaming Company. A total of RM 100,000 is the prize pool. It commenced on the 2nd of February with the Challengers League and the tournament will go on till the 12th of March. Enigma Gaming is currently competing against the counterparts of the SEA region that are Bleed eSports, Todak, X10 Esports, Louvre, Hey! Yakiniku, Team Path and Kizuna Esports.
As of now, they played their first match against Louvre where they lost by 0-2 in the best of three games. Though it was just their first game, Enigma Gaming won the game against Team Path with a complete sweep of 2-0 in the Best of 3 series.
The standings of the team
With the win, Enigma currently sits in the third position of the Group Stage Standings. The team looks confident enough and will surely produce a good display.
