GodLike Stalwart Esports is no longer together
Back in 2022, GodLike Esports and Stalwart Esports announced their collaboration ahead of the PUBG Mobile World Invitational. The newly formed team GodLike Stalwart Esports participated in the tournaments like PMWI 2022, South Asia Fall Championship 2022 and PMGC 2022. However, recently, GosuGamers India’s Instagram post mentioned the end of the partnership and Stalwart Esports announced through their Twitter post stating that the 6-month-long partnership is now terminated. It was a mutual decision between the organisations as they want to expand separately. Though the main reason behind the termination was that the publishers’ policies didn’t allow the team to expand in different regions under the same banner. The team together won the PMPL South Asia Fall Championship, finished third in PMWI 2022, and fourth in PMGC 2022.
About the collaboration back in 2022
One of the most well-known BGMI teams in India, Godlike Esports had a partnership with Stalwart Esports, a well-known company in South Asia. Prior to the next PUBG Mobile World Invitational 2022 Global Event, the collaboration took place. Regarding their collaboration, both groups uploaded a video to their social media channels. A new name was formed Godlike Stalwart Esports. The team had a strong PUBG Mobile roster formed by Godlike and Stalwart Esports.
Why did both terminate their partnership?
Godlike Esports has already begun preparations for the PUBG Mobile competition as they are planning to build their own lineup. Though, there are no names, as of yet. Stalwart Esports has intentions for the Indian market in a variety of esports titles, while GodLike Esports intends to expand in the Global market.
What does it hold for the future?
Now all eyes will be on GodLike Esports to see if it signs its own lineup or collaborates with another organisation. But fans are more worried about what if they withdraw from the mobile battle royale. With its Mongolian roster, Stalwart Esports will continue to operate in PUBG Mobile.
About Stalwarts Mongolian roster
Stalwart Esports acquired the Mongolian team in September 2021, and they quickly established themselves as a potent lineup. The roster has demonstrated its talent over the past two years both in South Asia and beyond.
Conclusion
According to the post from Stalwart Esports, both teams will now focus on their individual battles as they are now separate entities. Soon we might be seeing Stalwart Esports settling things up in India. While GodLike Esports’ PUBG Mobile roster and the global response are what fans are still waiting for after the heavy-hearted separation.
