The Guards beats TSM in the Grand Final
Ludwig x Tarik Invitational was an OFF//SEASON Valorant tournament that concluded yesterday. It was organised by Ludwig, Tarik, Beyond the Summit, and Riot Games. It was an offline tournament that took place in Los Angeles. It followed patch 6.0 for the competitive session. The tournament had a total prize pool of $50,000 and it was a 2-day tournament that featured a total of four invited teams. All the matches that were played were of Best of 3 game series except the upper bracket final which was of Best of 1 game match. All the teams played through a Double Elimination bracket. The Grand Final was played between The Guard and TSM and the match ended in a win for The Guard.
Day 2 recap
The final was played between The Guard and TSM in a best of 3 games format. The Guard came all the way up by maintaining their unbeaten run throughout the tournament, starting from the Upper Bracket Semifinals. TSM on the other hand lost to Sentinels in the Upper Bracket Semifinal and later made it through the Lower Brackets to reach the Grand Final. The Showmatch
It was played between Offline TV vs Mogul Moves. Offline TV’s roster included Tarik, Masayoshi, Brodin, yvonnie, and QuarterJade. While Mogul Moves had Ludwig, shroud, Aiden, Envy, and Yingling. Offline TV won the game with a 2-1 score in the best of 3.

The Guard vs TSM
Maps – Pearl, Ascent, and Haven
- Game 1: The match was played on Pearl map where The Guard picked KAY/O, Killjoy, Jett, Sova, and Astra. TSM began with Raze, KAY/O, Killjoy, Astra, and Fade. Both teams made it a tie and forced the match to overtime. TSM won the game by 12-14.
- Game 2: Both teams headed for the Ascent map. The Guard began with an agent line-up of KAY/O, Killjoy, Jett, Sova, and Omen. TSM picked Jett, KAY/O, Killjoy, Astra, and Sova. The first-half score remained 8-4 with The Guard in the lead. Later TSM tried to make a comeback in the second half but the score remained 5-7. The Guard won the game by 13-11.
- Game 3: Haven was the decider map for the match, The Guard picked Breach, Killjoy, Jett, Sova, and Omen. TSM began with Jett, Breach, Killjoy, Astra, and Skye. First half score remained 11-1 with complete dominance from The Guard, in the second half The Guard made it a 2-0 finish and won the game by 13-1.
The 2-day event finally concluded and fans witnessed some entertaining games between the top teams. The Guard took home a total of $30,000 while TSM received $15,000 and Sentinels got $5,000.
