Day 1 of the Esportz Premier Series 2022 Grand Finale concluded yesterday
India’s first LAN event of 2023, the Esportz Premier Series 2022 Grand Finale finally kicked off yesterday with a series of games for the fans. As you all already know, Esportz Premier Series is an annual esports championship that runs on a year-long basis. This time, the tournament is holding the Grand Finale of popular esports titles mainly for PC, mobile, and consoles.
The popular competitive esports titles which are included are VALORANT, Street Fighter V, Rocket League, Free Fire Max, and Clash Royale. The day began with the Free Fire Max tournament, and later it went ahead for the Rocket league tournament. Day 1 recaps of the tournaments
The Day 1 of the Grand Finale of Esportz Premier Series 2022 was played out yesterday.
Free Fire Max tournament
As stated above, Free Fire Max was the tournament that concluded its games. To know about the tournament, go on to the Esportz official Twitter account.
A total of 12 teams were seen in action, each day these teams were seen playing a total of 5 games on 3 different maps. According to the Day 1 standings, Blind Esports remained in pole position with 70 total points while Operax Esports finished 2nd with 60 total points. Vasiyo Esports and Aslaaa Esports were placed third and fourth with 58 and 57 total points respectively.
Rocket League
The Rocket League started right off after the conclusion of the Free Fire Max tournament. It began with the Semi-finals; Game 1 was played between Pineapple Cake vs Kachow while Game 2 was played between NHK Esports vs Yikes.
- Game 1 – Pineapple Cake won the game with a score of 3-0 in Semi-final 1.
- Game 2- Yikes won the game against NHK Esports with a score of 3-1 in Semi-final 2.
Street Fighter V
After the conclusion of the first 2 tournaments, it was now time for the Street Fighter V tournament. The first game was between Aditya Verma vs Ayan Biswas, the second game was between Bhagwat Singh vs Mayank Prajapati.
- Game 1 – Ayan Biswas prevailed over Aditya Verma and won the game 3-1 in the best of 5 games.
- Game 2 – Bhagwat Singh after an intense fight with Mayank Prajapati won the game by 3-2 scores.
Clash Royale
Clash Royale’s first game was played between Abu Baqar vs Jeferson Rayo and later Qumber Ali Rizvi played game 2 against Samith Sami.
- Game 1 – Jeferson Rayo won against Abu Baqar with a score of 2-1 in the best of 3 games.
- Game 2 – Samith Sami won against Qumber Ali Rizvi by 2-1.
