EVOS Esports TH, a professional esports organisation has decided to disband its Wild Rift roster
It bid farewell to the players in an Instagram post as well. The players that were part of the team will no longer be representing EVOS Esports TH in Wild Rift competitions, and are now free agents who can explore other opportunities. The decision to disband the Wild Rift roster likely came after evaluating the team’s performance and potential for future success.
The group is among the first professional teams to enter the Wild Rift esports scene. The team in the mobile MOBA game was unable to qualify for any of the world series events, but EVOS Esports TH did well in regional competitions. Competitions like the ESL Mobile Open 2021: Thailand Summer and Fall and the Snapdragon Pro Series 2022: Thailand Open Finals were easily won by the team.

The Impact
The decision to disband EVOS Esports Thailand’s Wild Rift roster will have several impacts. The players that were part of the team, will now be free agents and can explore opportunities with other teams or organizations. However, they may face challenges in finding a new team, as the market for professional Wild Rift players is competitive, and the decision to disband a team can lead to speculation about the player’s skill and performance.
For EVOS Esports Thailand, the decision to disband the Wild Rift roster will mean that they will no longer have a competitive team in Wild Rift tournaments. This could impact their ability to attract sponsors and generate revenue from Wild Rift competitions. The organization will also lose the fan base that was supporting the Wild Rift team.
However, the decision may also have positive impacts on EVOS Esports Thailand in the long term. By dismantling the underperforming team, the organisation will have the opportunity to re-evaluate its strategy and rebuild a stronger and more competitive team in the future. It is also an indication that the organisation is open to change and is always looking for ways to improve.
