A Fortnite glitch has made it possible for players to get into Mythic Nitro Cars without fighting any Wasteland Warrior Bosses. They can phase through the car’s cage by exploiting the glitch after which they need an opponent to defeat the boss, obtain the Medallion, and unlock the cage.
Chapter 5 Season 3 debuted three Mythic Nitro Cars. These vehicles can be found caged in the Wasteland region, the southern part of the Map, guarded by powerful Bosses. One needs to defeat the Boss and obtain their Medallion to unlock their respective ride. However, a Fortnite glitch offers a less risky way of acquiring the Mythic vehicle.
Fortnite Glitch Allows Players To Get Into Mythic Nitro Cars Without Defeating Any NPC Boss
Mythic cars in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 have more durability and Nitro capacity compared to other vehicles. Players can find Megalo Don’s Behemoth SUV in Brutal Beachhead, The Machinist’s Lockjaw in Redline Rig, and Ringmaster Scarr’s Lockjaw in Nitrodome. The Medallions that the Bosses drop not only unlock the cages containing their ride but also provide ammo, shield, and Nitro buffs.
Thanks to a Fortnite glitch, players have been able to bypass the Medallion requirements to get the Mythic Cars. The glitch works when a player throws a Gas Can in midair near the caged Mythic Car and then holds the mantle button to grapple onto the can. This makes the character phase into the car cage.
Subsequently, the player needs to wait for the cage to be opened by an opponent while hiding behind the car, eliminate them, and enjoy their free ride after looting the Medallion from the dead enemy.
The ‘Gan Can glitch’ in Fortnite isn’t new. @Finzy shared a clip on X which shows a player phasing through an opponent’s structural defenses and greeting them with a headshot.
It is unknown whether Fortnite has fixed the glitch or is even aware of it. That said, players must try to obtain a Mythic Nitro Car by using the glitch in their next Fortnite battle royale game.
