However, before the release of the seasonal content, rumors around the launch of the ‘Fortnite Marvel Live event’ have been making rounds on social media. The mini-event will reportedly be the next major content addition of version 31.30 and is expected to be centered around Doom, Fortnitemares, or both. When Will Fortnite Marvel Live Event Launch?
Leaks from the likes of @Rezztro and @HYPEX have hinted at a release after the version 31.30’s roll-out, which is scheduled to happen on October 1, 2024. Moreover, the Isle of Doom and Day of Doom (limited-time mode) are going offline on October 5, 2024. Players can expect Epic Games to replace the LTM with the Fortnite Marvel live event. Although the developers haven’t confirmed anything yet, fans can expect more updates ahead of the release of the new patch.
What To Expect From Fortnite Marvel Live Event? (v31.30)
According to leaks posted by @HYPEX (courtesy of @BeastFNCreative) the upcoming Season 4 mini-event has been codenamed ‘DeckBed Even.’ It will feature a timer and will be likely to be related to Doom or Fortnitemares, (or both). Fans can even expect the live event to kickoff the Fortnitemares 2024, but these are mere speculations at the time of the writing.
Recently, Epic Games added six Marvel quests featuring the storyline of Doom approaching the island and Hope preparing for a showdown with him. The narrative also saw Loopers being tasked to defeat Emma Frost on the island (with Forecast Towers). As per @ScyanYT the six quests were a build-up for the fight against Doom and a storyline featuring Mephisto.
Players might see four more story parts arriving with the next update. These four Marvel quests will form the Phase 2 and might be related to the mini-event in v31.30. However, Epic Games has yet to reveal anything about the Fortnite Marvel Live event. Hence, players should wait for the devs to confirm the details with an official announcement.
Apart from the live event, Fortnite fans can expect more Marvel content in the upcoming weeks, with Spider-Man x Venom being leaked as a new Halloween addition. At the same time, Skeletor is also rumored to make its way to Fortnite soon.
