An all-new Fortnite x Star Wars crossover is set to arrive in May 2024, as recently teased by Epic Games. The developers didn’t reveal much about the collaboration. Still, fans can expect the release of new cosmetics, time-limited event(s), Jam Track(s), and more content for FN Battle Royale, Festival, and the LEGO mode.

It is not the first time Star Wars is collaborating with Epic Games’ gaming platform. In the past, the devs have added numerous items from the ‘Galaxy Far, Far Away,’ including outfits based on fan-favorite characters like Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Princess Leia, Darth Vader, and more, alongside Lightsabers and other cosmetics.
Fortnite x Star Wars Crossover Release Date
The upcoming crossover event featuring Star Wars content will go live on May 3, a day before Star Wars Day. The announcement post for the Fortnite x Star Wars features an iconic line from the franchise – “I’ve got a good feeling about this…“. At the same time, the teaser has hinted at the addition of new content for LEGO FN, Battle Royale, and FN Festival.
Fortnite x Star Wars – New Content
According to reliable leakers like iFireMonkey (@iFireMonkey) and HYPEX (@HYPEX), fans can expect the addition of Wookie Bowcaster, a brand-new mythic weapon. Epic Games added the Wookie Bowcaster to the files in FN Chapter 5, Season 2. Currently, it is unreleased in the game and uses a placeholder image, but devs can introduce it in May 2024.
The leakers have also confirmed the addition of Rebel Leia Organa, which can turn out to be a specific style for the Leia Organa outfit in the game. Besides the Rebel Leia Organa skin, the leaks have hinted at the addition of a Rocket Racing vehicle and map, alongside the return of lightsabers and a lot of other Star Wars-themed content.
