EPIC Games hasn’t publicly revealed its plans for Fortnitemares 2024 but leaks and speculations galore for the spooky season.
When Will Fortnitemares 2024 Be Released?
Fortnite patch v31.30 will be dropped on October 1 this year. However, according to popular Fortnite leaker HYPEX, the next patch would be a “lead-up update” instead of coinciding with the Halloween-themed event. Fortnitemares 2024 release date is expected to be sometime between October 11 and 15. New cosmetics and bundles that debut during the event could be available in the shop till the next season.
According to the leaker, Fortnite Version 31.30 could bring the teased Deadpool Fishstick skin (Fishpool) to the shop after removing a few items from the Deadpool & Wolverine collaboration. Crew subscribers may get the ‘Polus’ Pack this October. In another big reveal, HYPEX stated that the Nissan Skyline GT-R vehicle body from the Fast & Furious franchise could be released for Fortnite BR and Rocket Racing.
Given that the Fortnitemares 2024 release date is only a few weeks away, EPIC Games will prepare players for the main update with the next patch. Fortnite v31.30 may debut a new mini-event linked to Fortnitemares and the ongoing Marvel-themed season. For this year’s Fortnitemares, the most attention-grabbing rumors have been about a Fortnite x Saw collaboration. A datamine by Xgamer360 shared on social media led to fans witnessing coded game files that hinted at Billy the Puppet’s appearance.
The most obvious teaser about the Saw collaboration can be found in the attic of the Castle Doom POI. A switched-on retro television displays static and many fans believe that Billy may appear on the screen during Fortnitemares 2024. The latest post by HYPEX further justifies that we might see an in-game ‘mask’ teaser for Fortnite x Saw.
Disney Villains Maleficent, Captain Hook, and Cruella de Vil are expected to appear in Fortnite Battle Royale during the Halloween season. A part of the upcoming Fortnite Disney Crossover, the official release window for the villains was stated to be the Fall of 2024.
A recent leak also hints that a Fortnite X Spider-Man vs Venom collaboration is being prepared for the upcoming Fortnitemares. The launch date of the new skins could coincide with Venom: The Last Dance. Judging by the leaks and rumors, it seems EPIC Games wants to combine Marvel and Saw events for Fortnitemares to give diverse experiences throughout October.
