Free Fire and FF MAX’s OB46 update is out, and a lot of content is lined up for the upcoming weeks, but Garena has revealed a major collaboration that will happen later this year. In a recent announcement, Garena unveiled the Free Fire MAX x Blue Lock crossover, which will occur in November 2024. Although the devs didn’t reveal anything about the upcoming collaboration, players can expect themed collectibles and character-based bundles to make their way to Free Fire and FF MAX.

Free Fire MAX x Blue Lock Crossover Might Bring Themed Bundles And In-Game Accessories For Fans
In the past, FF and Free Fire MAX players have seen various collaborations with different IPs, including iconic manga and anime like Demon Slayer, One Punch Man, and Attack on Titan. For the uninitiated, the FF x OP Man collaboration debuted in 2020. It introduced some of the most popular emotes to the game, while fans could also get their hands on character-based cosmetics.
Similarly, Attack on Titan and Demon Slayer crossover events happened in 2021 and 2023, respectively, and introduced costume bundles inspired by fan-favorite anime characters. Besides the special edition costumes, Garena also introduced emotes, other accessories, and gameplay content to Free Fire and FF MAX (only Demon Slayer crossover).
Now that Free Fire and Free Fire MAX are collaborating with Blue Lock, players might get to see the arrival of similar content to the game. Garena can introduce a ‘Free Fire MAX x Blue Lock’ event featuring themed rewards. At the same time, Blue Lock-inspired collectibles and costumes might feature in Free Fire and FF MAX’s in-game store.
Apart from the Free Fire MAX x Blue Lock, Garena has already announced a major collaboration for early 2025. As per an announcement from July 2024, Free Fire MAX and Free Fire will have a crossover with Naruto next year. In an unrelated development, Garena has also joined hands with Japanese media conglomerate Kadokawa, Free Fire into an anime series.
With two big collaborations and a series in the works, the upcoming months are expected to be quite exciting for anime fans who also play Free Fire and FF MAX.
