All Free Fire OB44 Weapon Balance Adjustments (April 2024)
The latest patch update (April 2024) has brought four buffs and three nerfs, based on impacted weapons’ performances in the past versions. Apart from the Free Fire OB44 weapon balance adjustments, Garena has also introduced a rework for Plasma gun and a new mechanism for AUG. Free Fire OB44 Weapon Balance Adjustments – Buffs
Double Vector
Double Vector, known for equipping two weapon slots, was not living up to expectations due to its limited range and magazine capacity. For FF OB44, the developers have buffed Double Vector as follows:
- Magazine – Increased from 20 to 23
- Accuracy – Enhanced by 5%
- Range – Increase by 15%
Vector
Like Double Vector, Garena has implemented a buff for the lacklustre Vector as well. The developers have buffed the following attribute(s) of Vector:
- Magazine – Increased from 20 to 23
MP5
Despite its popularity among the fans, MP5 has been an underperforming weapon for quite sometime, due to the lack of a ‘competitive edge.’ Hence, developers have introduced the following buffs to MP5 for FF OB44:
- Damage – Increased by 8%
PARAFAL
PARFAL’s low magazine capacity has been limiting its potential for multiple updates now and devs have ensure it won’t be the case with Free Fire OB44 due to the following buffs:
- Magazine – Enhanced from 18 to 20
- ADS Speed – Increased by 10%

Free Fire OB44 Weapon Balance Adjustments – Nerfs
Bizon
Bizon’s impeccable precision and higher damage output have been the reason behind its success against other SMGs. At the same time, the developers also noticed an overpowered performance in CQC, which created an imbalance, while providing Bizon with an undue advantage. Devs have made the following nerfs to balance out Bizon’s performance in FF OB44:
- Damage – Decreased by 10%
- Magazine – Decreased from 30 to 25
Trogon
According to developers, Trogon has been overshadowing other shotguns, despite its nerf in previous patch. Hence, for OB44, Trogon has received the following nerfs:
- Damage – Decreased by 8%
- Range – Reduced by 5%
Charge Buster
Charge Buster became unrivalled in close-range fights, especially when users hide around corners or behind Gloo Walls. Developers have addressed the imbalanced potential of Charge Buster and rolled out following nerfs:
- Damage – Decreased by 10%
- Max Charge Duration – Reduced by 25%
- Movement Speed – Decreased by 5%
- Full Charge Time – Enhanced by 30%
