Free Fire OB45 is heading towards its conclusion, with Garena gearing up for the next patch update. The OB46 will drop on September 4, 2024 across all regions and will introduce loads of new additions and in-game adjustments. Players will get to see an all-new character named Lila, while all-new Gloo Nova gameplay is also arriving to BR and CS with the OB46 patch. What Are New Free Fire OB46 Features?
Gloo Nova Gameplay/Event
One of the most exciting Free Fire OB46 features is Gloo Nova, a new gameplay-based event, which will go live in Battle Royale and Clash Squad modes. The time-limited event will bring a Gloo-covered map alongside various exclusive gameplay aspects. There will be Gloo Gadgets – Wrecking Gadget, Defender Gadget, Lavish Gadget, and Scanner Gadget – offering special power ups. Players will also get to see Gloo Arsenals, Gloo Airdrops, Bermuda Factory (POI) covered with Gloo walls, and a lot more special events.
New Character – Lila
Lila, aka ‘Gloo Artist,’ is the all-new character, which Garena will introduce with Free Fire OB46. She can slow down the enemies and their operated vehicles by hitting them with rifles. At the same time, an already slowed down enemy will further get frozen for a couple of seconds, after getting knocked out by Lila. Interestingly, she will obtain an extra gloo wall, while entering a cooldown of 10 seconds.
Besides a new character, Garena is bringing a plethora of character adjustments as a part of Free Fire OB46. Characters like Xayne, Lequeta, and Andrew “The Fierce” are receiving skill reworks in the new patch. Garena is also balancing the skills for as many as five characters, including D-Bee, K, Antonio, Maro, and Orion. All changes and new additions will arrive with the launch of OB46 patch on September 4.
New Clash Squad Season
Clash Squad-Ranked Season 26 is commencing in September 2024 and players can expect new rewards, alongside a rank-reset. Along with a new season, the developers are pushing out multiple changes for the Clash Squad mode, which significantly alter the gameplay experience. The new Free Fire OB46 features for Clash Squad mode include the following:
- Claim cash with the first knockdown
- Inclusion of new enemy outlines
- Garena is adding new MVP effect
- There are more limitations on accessing high ground
- CS mode will feature route and team objective guidance with interactive features like Supply Gadgets and Cyber Airdrops
- Introduction of Gloo Nova in CS mode, which will introduce Gloo Gadgets, Gloo Airdrop, Gloo Factory, and Gloo Special Surge Event.
Apart from the above-mentioned new Free Fire OB46 features, the patch will also roll-out loads of weapon balance adjustments. Weapons like AC80, M4A1, SVD-Y, M60, M24, and AUG are undergoing adjustments, while Vector & Double Vector, AK47, Charge Buster, and M249 are getting buffed. Woodpecker, Trogon, and XM8 are receiving nerfs with the OB46 update. Additionally, there will another unrelated-yet-crucial adjustment in the game, which will allow players to purchase pets for gold.
