New Cosmetics: Golden, Masked Aesthetic
The Veiled Collection Event offers a total of 24 new cosmetics for players to collect, including legend and weapon skins, banners, and emotes. The collection is centred around a golden, masked aesthetic, giving a fresh and unique look to the game. Players can purchase Legendary skins for 1,800 Apex Coins or 2,400 Crafting Metals, or they can earn Epic skins for Newcastle and the Mozambique through the free rewards track. Collecting all 24 cosmetic items during the event will reward players with Caustic’s Mythic Prestige skin, Apex Contagion.
Limited-Time Mode: Unshielded Deadeye
In addition to the new cosmetics, the Veiled Collection Event also introduces a new limited-time mode called Unshielded Deadeye. This mode is a Team Deathmatch that will test players’ aim and skill with rotating loadouts. Players will have access to Wingman and 30-30 Repeater, Hemlok and G7 Scout, Kraber and Sentinel, and there are no care packages, shields, or helmets to block your headshots in this mode. The first team to reach 50 kills wins, so get ready to aim and shoot.
Mythic Prestige Skin: Apex Contagion
For the dedicated players who want to collect everything, the Veiled Collection Event offers a Mythic Prestige skin for Caustic, called Apex Contagion. The Toxic Trapper is depicted in this skin wearing an outfit made of bright green and silvery metallic materials that changes as players deal more damage. The Caustic skin’s last stage gives him a digital skull-like face and a special finisher that will make players gasp.
The Veiled Collection Event offers an exciting conclusion to Season 16 of Apex Legends, bringing new cosmetics, a limited-time mode, and a Mythic Prestige skin for players to enjoy. The golden, masked aesthetic provides a unique look to the game, while the Unshielded Deadeye mode and Apex Contagion skin offer new challenges for players. With Season 17 just around the corner, the Veiled Collection Event is the perfect way to say goodbye to the current season and get ready for the next. Don’t miss out on the chance to collect all the new cosmetics and unlock the Mythic Prestige skin before the event ends on May 9th.
