“Help make it happen”- God of War Ragnarok director spill the beans on his next big move
God of War Ragnarok, the father-son adventure game is already a hit. With a chartbuster start, Ragnarok is as good as it gets. But what’s next? Fans are eagerly waiting for Eric Williams’ next project. Well, in a recent interview, God of War Ragnarok’s director Eric Williams talked about how he would love to make Castlevania, if given a chance.
All you need to know about Castlevania-
Developed by Konami, Castlevania is a horror adventure video game series about Dracula, first released in the year 1986. The game is set in a castle, where Dracula revives every hundred years. The player takes up the role of a Dracula hunter, whose mission is to terminate Dracula with a Vampire Killer. The latest instalment of the series is Castlevania Advanced Collection, 2021.
What did Eric Williams exactly mean?
Coming back to Eric Williams, in a latest episode of Kinda Funny Games Spoilercast, Williams spoke about his wish to want to make Castlevania if given a chance. He even went onto saying, help Studio Santa Monica get Castlevania license, if Konami wanted to share the rights. Well, he made his statements very casually, like in a jest, but his admiration for Castlevania franchise is not new. Apart from Castlevania, Eric also spoke about whether God of War Ragnarok will get any DLC. Well, no luck in this case. He pretty much ruled out such possibility.
Castlevania always had a pretty good fan base. But last two games of the series weren’t of their best forms. And with God of War Ragnarok such a hype, fans would love to watch the two brands coming together. It’s all up to the top notches to decide.
For all the fans of God of War and Castlevania series, do you want Eric Williams to resurrect the Dracula, do comment and let us know.
